Elliptic fibrations and the singularities of their Weierstrass models [PDF]
Andrea CattaneoThe aim of this paper is to investigate the structure of non-Kodaira fibres in elliptic threefolds. I will show that for minimal elliptic threefolds these fibres are contractions of Kodaira fibres.
