We study a general D-dimensional Schwarzschild-type black brane solution in the Einstein-dilaton theory and investigate its thermodynamics. Using the membrane paradigm we calculate the several hydrodynamic transport coefficients and then compare them with the results obtained by the Kubo formula in the 4-dimensional case. By calculating the momentum diffusion constant of the shear modes, we calculate the sum of the energy density and pressure, which is consistent with the result of the black brane thermodynamics.
