Lucas SourrouilleWe consider a generalization of Jackiw-Pi model by introducing a nonstandard kinetic term. We present a Bogomolnyi framework for this theory and as a particular case we show that the Bogomolnyi equations of Chern-Simons Higgs theory can be obtained.
