Black hole evolution as diffusion in Euclidean sector II    [PDF]

K. Ropotenko
A diffusion equation for a generic Kerr-Newman black hole is derived from the Bloch equation. It is shown that evolution of a Schwarzschild black hole in Euclidean sector is described by the canonical density matrix which satisfies a diffusion equation, and evolution of a Kerr-Newman black hole is described by the grand canonical density matrix which satisfies a diffusion-convection equation. It is found that the entropy of a Kerr-Newman black hole is the same, apart from the logarithmic corrections, as the Bekenstein-Hawking entropy.
