We discuss the baryon in the holographic QCD framework and focus on the role of the bifundamental scalar field, realizing chiral symmetry breaking. It is found, that the scalar provides a possibility to interpret a baryon as the dyonic instanton within the Atiyah-Manton-like approach. The dyonic instanton solution for the flavor gauge group with axial and baryon charges is described in the peculiar cylindrical ansatz and its features are discussed.
