Quantum Excitations in Time-Dependent Backgrounds [PDF]
Matthew Kolopanis, Tanmay VachaspatiWe give a technique for calculating the occupation number of quantum fields in time-dependent backgrounds by using the relation between one-dimensional {\em quantum} oscillators and two-dimensional {\em classical} oscillators.
