In the limit of weak coupling we compare the energy of the vacuum and the order parameter, evaluated in the lattice Monte Carlo simulation and in the perturbative field theory at two loop (Minkowski). The continuum calculation gives a very good fit of the simulation results away from the phase transition line. This confirms the conjecture that the lattice provides a regularization of the (nonrenormalizable) massive Yang-Mills and moreover it shows the physical meaning of the parameters used in the simulation.
